Can we start learning after the 3rd grade?

Yes. If you're in 3e, you can decide to continue your apprenticeship training after college. You can choose to sign an apprenticeship contract by preparing one of the following diplomas:

For this, you must be at least 16 years old as at 31 december the calendar year where you end your year of 3e.

Example :

You turn 15 in July 2026, at the end of your year of 3e.. You will turn 16 in November 2026. In this case, you can start learning as soon as the school year starts in September 2026.

You must first find an employer (private or public) with whom you sign a apprenticeship contract.

You must then be accepted in an apprenticeship training center (CFA).

During your apprenticeship, you alternate periods on your employer's premises with periods of CFA training.

The diploma prepared in apprenticeship is identical to that prepared by the classical school route. You study the same programs, take the exam under the same conditions and obtain the same level of qualification.

FYI

If you are under the age of 18, you can, under conditions, benefit from back-to-school allowance (ARS).
