Should we replace our “pink 3-pane” driver's license with a new model?

The driving license in its “pink 3-pane” format is valid until 19 january 2033. However, you can already request its replacement by a driver's license in “credit card” format.

The request is made online on the website of France Titres (ex ANTS: titleContent ) :

Apply online for the replacement of the driving license in the “pink folding 3-pane” format by a license in the “credit card” format

Please note

You can import your driver's license into application France digital identity regardless of its format, “rose 3 flaps” or “credit card”. Digital driving license is accepted during a roadside check by the internal security forces (police, gendarmerie).
