What is an insertion contract (CDDI)?

The fixed-term integration contract (CDDI) is a contract open to unemployed persons who encounter particular social and professional difficulties. We present you the information to know.

The FIXED-TERM CONTRACT: titleContent insertion (CDDI) applies if you are recruited by an insertion company (EI), an intermediate association (AI) or an insertion workshop and site (ACI).

You are concerned if you are unemployed and encounter particular social and professional difficulties:

  • You are under 26 years old in great difficulty
  • You perceive social minima such as RSA: titleContent
  • You are a long-term job seeker
  • You are a recognized disabled worker.

General case

The CDDI is signed for a minimum of 4 months (unless you have been convicted and have a sentence adjustment).

The contract is renewable up to a total term of 24 months.

It may, however, be renewed beyond 2 years to allow completion of a vocational training action in progress at the end of the contract.

Employee aged 50 or over

The CDDI is signed for a minimum of 4 months (unless you have been convicted and have a sentence adjustment).

The contract is renewable up to a total term of 24 months (2 years).

However, it can be renewed beyond 2 years to promote your integration.

The extension is granted by France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi) after examination of your situation.

Disability

The CDDI is signed for a minimum of 4 months (unless you have been convicted and have a sentence adjustment).

The contract is renewable up to a total term of 24 months (2 years).

However, it can be renewed beyond 2 years to promote your integration.

The extension is granted by France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi) after examination of your situation.

The minimum working time of the employee is 20 hours per week.

It may vary over all or part of the period covered by the contract, not exceeding 35 hours.

FYI  

You can, during his contract, benefit from a work-based simulation period (PMSMP) with another employer.

You receive remuneration at least equal to Smic: titleContent (€1,823.03 per month).

You can ask for the suspension of the DSID in the following cases:

  • Perform a workplace assessment prescribed by France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi)
  • Perform an action contributing to your professional integration (however, you must obtain the agreement of your employer)
  • Completing a probationary period related to a job offer aimed at a DTA: titleContent or in FIXED-TERM CONTRACT: titleContent of at least 6 months.

In the event of employment following the workplace assessment or the probationary period, the IDRC is terminated immediately. There's no notice.

The CDDI may be terminated before its end, at your request, to allow you to take training leading to a qualification. In these circumstances, with respect to unemployment insurance entitlements, the termination is considered to be a legitimate resignation.
