Disability: does the additional resources still exist?

No, the resource add-in is deleted since 1er December 2019.
However, if you received this assistance until that date, you continue to receive it for ten years, provided you meet the award criteria (related to your disability rate, resources and housing).
The additional resources form with the AAH what is called the guarantee of resources.
The amount of the additional resources shall be €179.31 which brings the guarantee of resources (AAH + additional resources) to €1,220.90 per month.
Disability rate
You must meet the following 2 conditions:
- Have a permanent disability rate of at least 80%
- Have a working capacity of less than 5% because of your disability. The 5% equivalent to almost absolute incapacity for work.
The disability rate is determined by the Commission on the Rights for the Autonomy of Persons with Disabilities (CDAPH). This rate is set according to a scale guide for the assessment of disabilities and disabilities of persons with disabilities.
Resources
You must meet the following 2 conditions:
- Perceive the Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA) at the full rate or in addition to a pension, invalidity pension or a retirement pension
- Have not received income from professional activities for 1 year at the date of filing the application for supplement.

Accommodation
You must reside in self-contained housing, that is, housing that does not depend on an establishment.
If you are staying in a private home, this accommodation is not considered independent. However, if the dwelling belongs to the person you live with as a couple, it is then considered to be independent.
If you have reached the legal retirement ageHowever, the additional resources are paid when you receive the AAH in addition to a pension. However, you must meet the conditions for access to the resource add-in.
AAH articulation, professional activity and pension rights
Article 254 of the Finance Law for 2024 allows persons who receive the Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA) to continue to receive this allowance if they decide to continue their professional activity after their age of entitlement to retirement. This measure will come into force on a date to be fixed by order in council.
