Can an employee benefit from several successive parental educational leaves?

Yes, an employee may benefit from successive parental educational leave in the event of new birth or new of adoption following initial parental education leave.

Request for new parental leave full-time or part-time is open to any employee.

The request must be addressed to the employer at least 1 month before the date on which the employee was to resume his activity.

The employee may terminate leave parental before the scheduled date and resume his initial activity in case of:

  • Or death of the child
  • Or a significant decrease in the resources of the household.

FYI  

The pregnant employee during her parental leave may interrupt her current leave in favor of a maternity leave, subject to conditions.
