Yes, the end date of your sick leave can be brought forward if authorized by a physician during a consultation planned or requested by you.
Usually, it is the doctor who has completed your sick leave certificate.
The occupational doctor cannot modify a work stoppage in progress or allow an early resumption.
In the event of an early return to work, you must take the following steps:
- Notify your employer so that it organizes your return to work.
You can only return to work before the end of your stop that if your employer is informed and agrees, even if you have a medical certificate.
The organization of a return visit to the occupational physician is mandatory when the sick leave lasts more than 60 days. - If you have obtained your employer's agreement to return to work, inform your social security organization (CPAM: titleContent, MSA: titleContent,...) by email or telephone as soon as possible to suspend the payment of daily sickness benefits (DSA).
