The apprenticeship contract is an employment contract that allows for alternating periods of company training and periods in an apprenticeship training center.

An apprentice's salary is calculated as a percentage of Smic (or the conventional minimum wage [CMS] if it exists). This remuneration varies according to your age and level of education in the training cycle.

The alternating salary scale is defined by the legal framework as a minimum basis for remuneration, but there is nothing to prevent the employer from offering more advantageous remuneration.
