How to volunteer during the holiday season?

Christmas and New Year are holidays associated with generosity. The needs of associations are numerous during this period to support the most fragile, isolated or precarious people.

The JeVeuxAider platform is renewing this year its solidarity campaign entitled December Together.

Volunteering is an act of unpaid solidarity practiced outside professional and family time. Whatever your situation, you can freely engage in a solidarity action.

To become a volunteer, you can:

• contact an association directly to find out what its needs are during this period;
• or consult the platform JeVeuxAider.gouv.fr.

Throughout the month of December, specific missions are proposed:

• wrapping gifts (particularly from large retailers), with a payment to associations;
• support for vulnerable and isolated people: marauding, distribution of hot meals, distribution of blankets;
• collection of products and toys for Christmas;
• preparation of solidarity packages;
• organization of New Year's Eve;
• etc.
