2026 payment calendar and France Travail update

Persons registered on the list of job seekers must update their situation, on a monthly basis, with France Travail. The update enables the procedure for the payment of allowances to be initiated. Update your situation as soon as possible to trigger the payment procedure.

The annual calendar allows you to view the discount periods and payment dates of the unemployment benefit.

The modalities

The opening of the update is in principle on the 28th of each month (except in February 2026) and closes on the 15th of the following month.

Once the update is made, the transfer of the allowance will appear on your bank account within an average of 3 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) and at the latest 5 working days.

You can update your situation during the entire discount period until the closing day (the 15th of the month at midnight).

How to proceed?

• I consult the dedicated section “ Monthly update and changes in situation ” on the France Travail website, depending on my personal, professional or family situation (resumption of activity, training, maternity, moving, etc.) and/or my profession.
• I have my ID number and my personal code.
• I declare my situation as soon as the discount period opens.
