  • For one person questioning : at any time after the day on which the procedure that led to the registration in Fnaeg took place. For one person convicted or declared criminally irresponsible : 3 years when the legal time limit for keeping fingerprints is 15 years, 7 years when this period is 25 years, 10 years when this period is 40 years.

  3. Forward the form to the public prosecutor of the court in which the proceedings took place or the person's domicile questioning (or convicted)

  • Copy of an identity document (national identity card, passport or residence permit)
  • Copy of any document relating to the case (summons to the investigative services or the investigating judge, judgment of the criminal court, decision of acquittaletc.)

Et après ?

The public prosecutor must reply within 3 months as requested.

In the absence of a response or if the prosecutor has objected to the erasure, it is possible to make a appeal to the president of the investigation chamber.

Who shall I contact

This appeal must be made by post RAR: titleContent or by declaration to graft, in the 10 days after the expiry of the 3-month period.
