In the case of obtaining a permanent visiting permit, it is not necessary to reapply for a permit each time, since it is valid for the entire period of detention.

  • Document justifying his or her family or situation (for example, a family record book)
  • Photocopy of an identity document (e.g. passport)
  • 2 ID photos under 3 months old
  • Stamped envelope with last name and address.

As a general rule, an answer is given within 3 weeks following the application for a permit.

If the application is accepted, the head of the penitentiary shall issue a visiting permit permanent or temporary (for a limited number of visits) to the person who applied for the permit.

  • During the prison visit, you must present a identity document (example: passport) and your visiting permit.
  • During your arrival, you will drop all items that you hold and/or bring (examples: linen, books) in a locker so that they can be controlled.
