Estate opened after October 2017

  4. THEsend or drop it with the documents to be attached to registry of the court of the last domicile of the deceased or to a notary

Please note

If you send the declaration to a notary, he must send a copy of it to the court in whose jurisdiction the succession is opened. The service can be invoiced by the notary.

Estate opened before November 2017

  • Full copy of the'death certificate from deceased
  • Extract of less than 3 months of your birth certificate from protected major
  • Duplex copy of your proof of identity
  • Copy of judgment appointing the curator
  • Duplex copy of proof of identity of your curator

Please note

If you have a mandate to sign the waiver in the name of an heir, you must also provide a copy of the mandate and a copy of the principal's identity card
