Estate opened after October 2017

Please note

If you send the declaration to a notary, he must send a copy of it to the court in whose jurisdiction the succession is opened. The service can be invoiced by the notary.

Estate opened before November 2017

  • Full copy of thedeath certificate from deceased
  • Extract less than 3 months old frombirth certificate protected middle finger
  • Duplex copy of your proof of identity
  • Copy of the decision of the guardianship judge authorizing you to waive on behalf of the protected adult or copy of theauthorization of the family council

Please note

If you have a mandate to sign the waiver in the name of an heir, you must also provide a copy of the mandate and the double-sided copy of the identity card of the principal.
