Parents each exercising parental authority

The list varies depending on whether the minor is legal heir or will :

Minor legal heir
  • Copy of the death certificate of the deceased
  • Full copy of the birth certificate of the minor child less than 3 months old
  • Certification by the notary of the loss-making nature of the succession (in case of referral to a notary)
  • Full copy of the birth certificate of each parent of the minor child, less than 3 months old
  • Copy of your marriage certificate within 3 months or copy of the divorce or separation judgment if both parents were married
  • Copy of already registered waivers
  • Heritage Inventory
  • Proof of inheritance debts (notary's letter, copy of invoices, etc.) or notarized statement of assets
Minor heir in will
  • Copy of the death certificate of the deceased
  • Full copy of the birth certificate of the minor child less than 3 months old
  • Certification by the notary of the loss-making nature of the succession (in case of referral to a notary)
  • Full copy of the birth certificate of each parent of the minor child, less than 3 months old
