Eel fishing logbook

Any freshwater fisherman, professional or recreational, must record his catches of eels in a fishing logbook. He must carry this logbook with him during any fishing activity. The fishing logbook is established for a fishing season. It shall include the following information: date, lot or catching area, stage of development, weight for eel less than 12 cm, and weight or number for yellow and silver eels.

Warning  

Between June 14 and July 31, 2026, any angler right declare his catches of yellow eels within 24 hours. The process is done online, or on free paper to be sent to the departmental federation for fisheries and the protection of the aquatic environment concerned.
