Yes, the employee of the individual employer or the childminder who is sick may, subject to conditions, collect daily allowances from the Social Security and a salary supplement paid by the pension scheme. He must justify his absence to the employer and send documents to the CPAM: titleContent. We're taking stock of the regulations.
Step-by-step approach
In case of absence for illness or accident, the employee warns the employer by any means. The employee communicates to the employer the proof of the work stoppage within 48 hours, except in exceptional circumstances.

Send work stoppage
The procedure differs depending on whether the doctor has established the work stoppage on the internet or in paper version :

Work stoppage established on the internet
If the doctor has established the work stoppage on the internet, the transmission to the CPAM: titleContent is done automatically.
The work stoppage does not have to be transmitted to the CPAM by the employee.
Work stoppage established in paper version
If the doctor has established the work stoppage in paper form, the employee forwards parts 1 and 2 of the stoppage to the CPAM: titleContent. This shipment must take place within 48 hours.
Send a certificate of honor
The employee must complete and send to the CPAM: titleContent a sworn statement indicating the last day worked.

The employee may receive daily allowances from the CPAM: titleContent if it fills certain conditions.
The IJSS are paid after a waiting period of 3 days.
The employee's IJSS is calculated based on the information completed by the employee on the sworn certificate and the salary he has received.
The CPAM: titleContent automatically transmits the statements of IJSS to the Personal Employee Provident Fund (Ircem).
In addition to the IJSS, a supplement can be paid to the employee from 8e day off.

In case of relapse disease, if CPAM does not apply waiting period, the employee is compensated by the provident scheme from 1er day.
Conditions for compensation
In order to be compensated, the employee must fulfill, inter alia, the following cumulative conditions:
- Have an employment contract with an individual employer at 1er day of work stoppage
- Justify, unless absolutely impossible, incapacity to work within 48 hours
- Submit to a counter-visit if necessary at the initiative of the insurer
- Justify, at 1er day of stoppage of work, regular wages in the branch of the sector of private employers and home employment.
Amount of the additional allowance
The additional allowance may provide 81.8% gross salary.
