Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE or D3E) - Large equipment (bulky)
Verified 24 octobre 2025 - Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
When you buy a device, the distributor must take back the old equipment free of charge, whether the purchase is made in-store or remotely (on the internet).
The recovery of your old device can be done according to one of the following modes:
- In store, if your purchase is made at the point of sale
- To your home, if you get delivered to your home
- At the place of delivery, if your order is delivered elsewhere (relay point for example) or according to a collection system set up by the distributor or by postal shipment when this is materially possible. In particular, the latter may propose a return voucher enabling the old equipment to be sent.
The method of return must be clearly indicated, easily accessible and brought to your attention before the conclusion of the sale.
