How to check the publication in the Official Journal of an association creation?

Once there declaration submitted to the registry of associations, it shall be published in JOAFE: titleContent about Eight days later.

The Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information (Dila) publishes the declarations to the JOAFE every tuesday.

Publication in JOAFE is necessary for the association to obtain legal personality, i.e. the legal capacity to act on its behalf (e.g. opening a bank account, signing a lease or receiving grants).

When the association's officials receive the declaration receipt, they can consult the JOAFE.

They can download free of charge the proof of publication, which is called release witness. To do this, enter the receipt declaration number, consisting of the number of the National Register of Associations (NAS) of type W + 9 digits, in the corresponding field of the search engine:

The publication witness is issued in pdf format under conditions that guarantee its authenticity by electronic signature.

This document must be preserved throughout the life of the association.

If the leaders of the association do not find the association in the JOAFE after the usual time, it is necessary to check that the full RNA number or the exact name of the association is well used.

If the problem persists, contact directly the registry of associations who registered your declaration to verify that the publication was correctly transmitted to the JOAFE.
