What is a professional trial?

The professional test is a test pre-employment.

The objective of the professional essay is to assess the professional qualification and employability of a candidate not yet recruited for a position in the company. This can be, for example, a writing exam, typing, making a part.

The professional essay is not planned by the Labor Code.

The employer and the candidate must decide by mutual agreement when and how to achieve it.

The professional test shall be a test of short-term.

The test offered must take place outside the normal working conditions of employees of the company.

The professional essay must not be akin to a real work performance replacing an employee of the company.

The professional test is therefore not in principle unpaid. However, treaty provisions may provide for remuneration.

The employer must guarantee the confidentiality of the test to the candidate taking a professional test.

The employer must communicate the results of the test to the candidate if the latter requests it.

Warning  

The professional trial should not be confused with the trial period, which intervenes after hiring of the employee.
