Can a civil servant with three children still retire earlier?

Yes, it remains possible, but under some conditions.
Indeed, the system that allows a civil servant who is the parent of at least three children to retire early is deleted since 2012.
Alone officials who completed the conditions by 31 December 2011 can therefore still benefit from this early retirement scheme.
The request for early retirement can be made in this case at any time.
The conditions to be met before 2012 are as follows:
- Have completed at least 15 years of civil or military service
- Be a parent of at least 3 children
- Have stopped or reduced your professional activity for a minimum period of time.
The minimum duration of cessation or reduction of activity is as follows:

Interruption of activity
For each child, you must have taken one of the following leave periods during at least 2 consecutive months :
- Maternity or adoption leave
- Paternity and childcare leave
- Parental Leave
- Parental Presence Leave
- Availability to raise a child.
Interruption of activity must have occurred before the child reached the age at which it ceased to be dependent on family benefits.
Reduced activity
For each child, you must have worked part-time under one of the following conditions:
- For at least 4 consecutive months at 50%
- Or for at least 5 consecutive months at 60%
- Or for at least 7 consecutive months at 70%.
The reduction in activity must have occurred before the child reached the age at which it ceased to be dependent on family benefits.
