Verified 05 August 2026 - Public Service / (Prime Minister)
If you use a notary, for example for the sale of your home or the settlement of an estate, you will have to pay it for the performance achieved: these are the notary fees. Here is the information you need to know on the subject. They vary depending on whether you are in metropolis or in a overseas department or region (Drom).

The notary fees correspond to all the sums requested by the notary in return for a performance that he realizes.
For example, if you pass a Civil partnerships: titleContent before a notary, you will have to pay the following notary fees:
- Fixed emoluments of €101.41 TTC: titleContent for the establishment of the Convention on Civil partnerships: titleContent
- Registration fees of €125 TTC
- Disbursements (including costs for the provision of 2 notarized copies of the agreement).
Notary fees include emoluments, the fees, the disbursements, the rights and taxes.
