Publié le 06 mars 2025 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)

Starting from the June 2025 session of the national patent diploma, separate marks will be awarded for history-geography on the one hand and moral and civic education on the other. In addition, a new score will distinguish students with at least 18 out of 20 scores.

During the June 2025 session of the national patent diploma, the mention “very well with congratulations from the jury” will appear, following an order published in the Official Journal of 27 February 2025. This endorsement will be attributed to:

In the two cases, this is equivalent to an average of 18 out of 20 obtained at the national patent diploma.

Students who achieve a "good" rating (at least 14 out of 20 on average on the patent), a "very good" rating (at least 16 out of 20 on average on the patent) and a "very good rating with the jury’s congratulations" will, under certain conditions, be eligible for a merit scholarship.

From this June 2025 session of the patent, the notes on history-geography and moral and civic education will also be separated. However, the format of the test does not change; the 3 subjects (history, geography and moral and civic education) remain grouped in the same written test of 2 hours.

Please note

The written tests of patent 2025 will take place:

  • Thursday, 26, and Friday, 27 June 2025 for the regular session;
  • Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 September 2025 for the replacement session.
