La Poste makes tariff adjustments to its service from 1er January 2026.

This development is part of the multi-year framework for tariffs decided by the Autorité de régulation des communications électroniques des postes et de la distribution de la presse (Arcep). It should make it possible “to ensure the sustainability of the universal postal service with high quality in a context of continuous decline in the volume of mail”.

The average overall increase from 2026 is 7.4%.

The red stamp, which allowed priority shipping on D+1, was removed on the 1ster January 2023. It has been replaced by the red e-letter, a digital service enabling urgent mail to be sent, printed and distributed by La Poste the next day.

You can print your stamps at home MyStampLine. This service offers a discount depending on the weight of your shipment.
