Tobacco prices set to rise in 2025

Tobacco prices will rise again in early 2025.

At 1er in january 2025, the selling prices of tobacco products will increase. That is provided for in a decree of 10 December 2024 published in the Journal officiall December 24, 2024. It certifies the retail prices of manufactured tobacco in metropolitan France.

The increase differs between manufacturers and products. She can go up to €1 on a conventional 20-unit pack of cigarettes. This is over the €12.50 mark for a pack of cigarettes.

Cigarettes, but also cigars, heating tobacco and rolling tobacco packages are concerned.

Reminder

Customs oversees the regulation of the tobacco trade in France. Only licensed tobacco suppliers deliver these products to debtors. They can then retail them.
