Edit

Voice spam refers to a fraudulent practice of receiving suspicious calls, often from numbers beginning with 089, 081 or 082.

These calls hang up immediately after you pick up or stay online for a few seconds without interaction. If you don't answer, the number appears as an absent call, prompting you to call back.

The main goal is to push you to compose a overtaxed number, resulting in high costs. These actions can be considered as an attempt of scam.

Voice spam can also manifest via a classic number (for example, beginning with 01 40...). In this case, even if you pick up the phone, you are asked to call back an overtaxed number, which is also a fraudulent practice to extract money from you.
