Back to School Dates 2023-2024

Service-Public.fr reminds you of the dates of the 2023-2024 school year. This year, 11,997,900 students from kindergarten to senior year.

For the 2023 school year, the planned dates for the school year are as follows:

  • the thursday 17 August in La Réunion;
  • the thursday 24 August in Mayotte;
  • the monday 4 september in the rest of the country (for elementary school; the date can be postponed by one or two days for middle school and high school).
