Schools, colleges, high schools: a circular to strengthen respect for secularism

The Ministry of National Education has just issued a circular calling for a “secularist plan” to be implemented in schools. The plan aims to strengthen support for teachers and school leaders in the face of rising attacks on secularism in the school environment.

One circular of the ministry of national education was published in the Official Bulletin on 10 November 2022. It details the four axes of the new plan on secularism in schools and schools.

The plan aims to support the education community, and in particular teachers, who are facing increasing cases of violations of the principle of secularism, including the wearing of religious dress. Read more about vie-publique.fr.
