Environmental protection: more than 70% of French people for individual commitment

Published on 1er In September 2022, the results of a 2021 Ministry of the Environment survey of French environmental practices show that more than 70% of French citizens believe that individual action is needed to protect the environment. More responsible consumption can help.

For those interviewed, this is mainly about fighting waste and buying locally made products.

Acting individually: a widely shared conviction

For a very large majority of French people, individual action is necessary to protect the environment. However, 15% feel that they do not have the means to act at their level. 7% are waiting for explanations of the importance of individual involvement.
