Buried pool (with or without shelter)
The structure of the swimming pool is completely buried in the ground. It's not removable.
The construction of a swimming pool may result in higher local taxes. You must declare it within 90 days of the completion of the work.
If your swimming pool has an area of more than 10 m², you are also subject to the development tax.
Warning
You need to equip your pool with safety features to prevent drowning.
Above ground swimming pool
The above ground pool is an unburied, inflatable or kit pool for example.
The construction of a swimming pool may result in higher local taxes. You must declare it within 90 days of the completion of the work.
If your swimming pool has an area of more than 10 m², you are also subject to the development tax.

You don't have to ask for city planning authorization.
